How do you measure to cut the rear panels so accurately??

How do you measure to cut the rear panels so accurately??
obsession mostly. lol
i started with my first pair of rear panels, tryed my best to mock up with some card board and cut...ended up messing it up and cutting a little off. so i made a hole that the cage easily fit through, installed the interior back with the cage. used blue tape to get that hole as close as possible to the cage, took the interior out again, used the old messed up plastics as a super accurate template (cut all the excess palstic on the inside of the interior panel out so that you can lay it down on the new set flat). got a new set of rear panels and cut.
i hope that made as much sense written down, as it did in my head.
if anyone has any questions feel free to pm me!
cage is SOLD!
enjoy the cage nate!
