What Is this?

I found this on the lower coolant hose but it wasnt attached to anything? I found this plug at the front of the radiator that seems to fit it, if anyone could help that would be great.

Long Story short i bought the car knowing it overheated with thermostat in, know im trying to figure out why, just put in a new aluminum radiator, new thermostat, and new upper and lower coolant hoses, and the radiator cap is new.

That is a temp sensor for a ka24e I think it turns on the secondary fan or something

So i shouldnt need it sense i have a ka24de in my car... thanks for the response.

Thats a pretty awesome plug to come standard with the KA24, SR20 never had that you had to buy a fitting to suit the temp gauge..
