Ok so I have a leak somewhere around my power steering pump. The leak is high up and doesn't seem to be coming from the hoses. I just put in some power steering fluid and it completely leaked out just sitting in my driveway. Are there any seals or gaskets that might have gone out or any opinions on the matter would be helpful. Thanks guys.

thats strange if its not the hoses...the high pressure line on the steering pumps is known to leak. i guess you just gunna have to search for it. id say maybe check out your steering rack but you say its higher up. if its leaking that fast you should be able to find where its comming from. i hate phantom leaks. i have a coolant leak right now somewhere under my sr's intake manifold. such a pain.

clean ur floor and put some cardboard under it. now pour some ATF in and see where its dripping. i would turn my car on and leave it on while you are checking this so if there is a hose that cannot hold pressure u find it this way, look for leaks by ur rack and make sure you have a flashlight. Its rather simple and if you cant figure out where or why take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

i had a PS pump leak 2 years ago. there are gaskets you can buy to rebuild it but i decided it was not worth the hassle, got another used pump on a local forum, replaced it and called it a day.

I had the same problem on my sr like 3 weeks ago. id say clean up the pump real good and just drive it for a little bit. dust should collect where the leak is.
if all else fails try some lucas leak stop shit for the your ps. i know its just a quick fix but it work pretty good for me.

Well I know the leak may be coming directly from the pump itself because the leak is high and its been falling on my water pump belt that I took off. The belt is currently directly under the pump. I think I will clean it up, fill it up, then try and see where the leak is coming from.
