I'm trying to do an s15 front end conversion for my 95 s14 but
I'm having trouble finding a quality kit. I was going to buy a
front clip from Japan and then swap those parts but I was told
the fenders wouldn't fit and that I'd need to but a kit to do
the swap?? Is that true?? I've search a bunch of places but
can't seem to find people who know for sure. If anyone can
help me get this project started that would be awsome.

Hopefully I can ward off the flames for ya here =P
Okay, S15 OEM metal fenders will not fit. Yes they will be trimmed if you decide to use them. This is one route.
Using your current fenders and have a bodyshop modify them is another.
Another route is to purchase fiberglass conversion fenders, but there are very few companies currently making them. Masa of Japan makes perfect fit ones (that are actually perfect fit). Importfan/GTP also makes perfect fit ones (that are far from perfect fit, despite the deceiving pictures you see on the website. Stories of inch-wide gaps are not uncommon).
For the '95s, you will need to modify your core support to fit the lights and bumpers. If you use the OEM S15 bumper (like I'm trying to), you may need a bumper bracket, or fabricate your own brackets. I'm trying to make my own right now.
So, in short, you don't need a kit. Although if the kit includes the Masa fiberglass conversion fenders, your life would be very easy.

they thanks a lot! I'd like to find a whole kit, fenders and all
if possible. Do you have a link for Masa? Where are you getting
your parts from for your swap??

Ya I have seen the west yokohama kit, it's exactly
what I want. I've e-mail them about what shipping would
cost me but I have a feeling it'll be crazy.
Do you know of anything in North America?
