Mating an s13 ecu plug to a s14 harness

Im looking to put an aem ems into my jdm s14 silvia, but the aem for my car is seriously over priced, so my friend and i came up with an idea to get an s13 engine harness, cut the plug off then cut my s14 harness plug off and then mate the plug to the harness complete with solder and shrink wrap.

Has anyone here done this before or know of anyone thats done it, or can point me in the right direction?

ive never done it but im pretty sure the s14 has a few wiring differences that makes it not worth the trouble. like different sensors n stuff
