FUCK! Damn it.... he is actually a good friend of mine. I didn't hear.... I have a couple of people over there right now for TAS2011 and the distribute for J's here in the US. Going to give my peeps a call over there.

From the website it looks like that the victim didn't die on scene. Was in the hospital but died later today....

There is no reason to talk about Ume-san like that, he made a mistake by trying run. That was bad judgement but he is the nicest person you could meet.... But in Japan this is serious especially hit and run.... Damn....

I doubt you would feel the same way if you were the one being hit and dragged down the road.

so how do you guys think the j's aero held up through all of this?

seriously though, i don't care if it was the pope, if you hit a pedestrian and try and flee like a coward and not even have the decency to check and see how the guy is...you're a piece of shit and i hope he spends the rest of his life in jail.

There is every reason to talk about him like that. If your family member was the one dragged and killed, Im sure you would be the first one on here spewing all sorts of hate.

The last time I checked, dragging someone behind your car and killing them is serious in most countries. He was probably drunk, most hit and runs involve alcohol (I was hit head on by a drunk driver who TRIED to flee the scene).

I dont feel sorry for him one bit.

Japan doesn't play around with the law and he did drag him for a while, then fled the scene. He's going to get the book thrown at him!

And he deserves it.

Panic may have set in but it is due to Japans law about vehicle accidents. Unless you are at a complete standstill you are somehow at fault normally 10% or greater. That dude could have walked out at the last second got hit and grabbed the mirror in desperation and it would have still been the drivers fault.
