so this passed saturday, my car was working just fine.

normal '90 s13 ka24e manual pos.

sunday, was around 4-5 degrees out, and the same monday.

i go to start the car monday morning, and its knocking and ticking like hell, with the oil light on, so i turn it off immediately.

checked the oil, it was thicker then normal, but still seemed full.

tried to start it again, same shit.

this has been going on since, with me checking it everyday, also with higher temperatures (30-40 degrees since monday)

i use regular 10w40 oil, could the oil have been so viscous (maybe frozen?) that the oil pump just couldn't pick up anything?

i haven't been able to try anything with it since i've been working so much, so let's see what you guys can think of.

edit: whoops this should be in engine tech, can a mod move it?
