pretty funny...i have, for some time, been amused by the similarities of the derogatory connotations associated with drifters (as in those who wander around the country from town to town doing odd jobs, etc...mostly a 70's era reference) and drifters (car drifters) who have a negative image in the main stream race industry, on in my specific experiences, with AutoXers and those who think of themselves as "real" racers...

just thoughts..:)
