windshield wiper issues.....

having issues with my windshield wipers, the first click down doesnt work but the rest of speeds will work but when i return the lever back to off they stop and dont return back down. i checked fuses and switched out the wiper switch and still the same issue, has anyone had this problem?

your "wiper amp" is bad/disconnected.

In my s13 it's the green box on the drivers side near the master cylinder

Does it have to be grounded to the car? I have it unscrewed just laying under the power steering res I moved in its place for my wire tuck

PROBLEM FIXED! my little green box wasnt plugged in all the way, thanks for the help!
