Will removing the electric fan actually make difference

alright..long story short.
fixed a problem by changing the clutch fan(put a brand new clutch fan),(car was squealing, fixed that problem). was running car with no thermostat, so we put a thermostat in there(OEM brand new), new waterpump as well. then had some issues, and my electric fan got messed up. so we were forced to take it out. the plastic that holds it in place is completely destroyed lol. so i had to run the car with no electric fan.

now my car is overheating.

my guesses:

air bubble in the radiator from when i put the coolant back in there after changing the waterpump and thermostat.

or was that little electric fan actually keeping the car cool??

You need a fan for sure or the car will overheat.... Most of those electric fans suck because they don't have a shroud and just blow air around in the engine bay.

It is best to use the stock clutch fan and shroud.

What I would do is remove the clutch fan all together and run Dual fans on the radiator. It will make for a much nicer engine bay. Also they fans shall cool just as good if not better. A fan is a must either way. Since that fan was used for when your a/c was on.

..no fan = overheat with in mins. you probably have to bleed your cooling sys again. its not hard just tedious. imho id take the clutch fan out...sell it, and buy efans. no need for the super fancy ones, just use the altima or maxima fans and your straight.

yeah i thought that to man.

figured the clutch fan(which seems to be doing its job perfectly) would be enough to keep it cool, since the electric fan that come with our cars is pretty tiny. ima try to bleed the cooling system, if it still heats up ill find some electric fan to put back on there.

oh and the shroud got a little hole in it when the the previous fan got messed up, but we managed to cover it up pretty well.

alright, update.

the coolant doesnt seem to be flowing through my radiator.
don't think it's the radiator thats messing up though. it was working fine before i changed waterpump, added the thermostat and all that stuff.

once it starts overheating i look at the radiator and the coolant seems to start coming out of everywhere. im not sure if this is causing the engine to over heat, or if the coolant is getting forced out BECAUSE of the overheating.

that's a picture of where some of it starts coming out of.
and sorry for the HORRIBLE picture, but my camera is stuck in that focus level. but you get the idea, the left side is the front of the radiator and the right side is the side next to the fan shroud.

you need to bleed it out still. That is the main reason you are overheating still air bubbles dont let your coolant to flow.

Had the same problem dude.

Had to jack my car up, up front and get a really long tall funnel. It will bleed it self soon as the car circulates the fluid.

I just did this, and had to jack the front of the car way up, let it bleed, then let it down again. Then jack it back up, and let it back down. All while the car is running. It probably took me 30 minutes of idling the car and revving it every once in a while to get it fully bled.
