GT - Grand Touring or "grande turismo: and R stands for Race.

I suppose the reverse position is called "R" for Race on them as well.

Hey, there is a guy with a mustang around here that these guys owe some credit to. I guess he thought the gtr badge looked cool, so he put them on his mustang, on the rear and sides where normal gt badges would have been. :bash: Thats the only mustang gtr for me.:hammer:

they sell those gtr emblems, so anyone could put it on any car they want. It doesn't say nissan on it, its just that we know what it is suppose to go on.

Nissan couldn't file a suit against it.

Its the same thing as making up trim models.

It's funny how it's always a god damn Skyline that is brought up to defend Nissan. Granted, this particular car has GTR badges. "I'd love to see it race a Skyline yo" And when any car is compared to the "almighty" Skyline, it is heavily modded. Compare it to something on an equal level - 2003 Cobra, Z06's...better yet lets compare it to modded domestics. How bout a Chevy Nova with a 540. "It'll smoke your Skyline fo sho" Grow some balls.

I saw a mustang with that emblem this past weekend, it was sweet. I don't like mustang much but the new cobra will smoke a skyline anytime. It's funny how some people kiss ass for skyline when they're probably never even seen one and they'll never own one.

I dont expect it to be grand the "Cobra type R" that mototrend did a spot on sucked ass it lossed to a Lotus Elise with a Type R in the 1/4 mile.
