I have an 1989 240sx Fastback for sale with ka24det.
First off I would like to thank Mrmephistopheles, S13SilviaGirl, KnightRider, Drift Freaq, Speedalliance, and s15dude for helping me with this project.
Other than the exception of a few members on here, few people know I have acquired an s13 turbo project after I sold my s14. I honestly did not want people to know about this car or have it bring so much attention. Usually nobody other than the socal members have seen this car. Its been a good car and served me well, but I have 2 plans.
I had drift freaq put it up for sale, while I was out of town, mainly because I had no access to a computer, and I didnt really want people to know I owned the car. Unfortunately all i got was complaints and flames. So please, if you're interested, just make an offer. Please don't turn the sale of a car into politics.
The Story:
I bought my friend's turbo S13, seeking to give it some attention and to fix a few problems that were on there. He had 4 other cars and also a motorcycle, and wanted a new project, so this one had to go. I have since then done a few changes to it.
REASON FOR SELLING:
I plan to build a coupe, but this time on my own, and turbocharging will be later down on the road. Gas prices are high, and I really dont need this car just to commute from school and back.
But I also want to try to get together enough money so I can study abroad overseas for a semester (my other plan, less likely though) I want to return to Taiwan for hopefully a semester or a year, I have family over there, and I kind of want to move back.
The cars has about 160k mi on the chassis (the odometer only reads 100k), about 15-18k on the new engine.

Engine/Drivetrain:
Built KA24DET (forged pistons/rods/rings)
New clutch (Southland Twin Friction Ceramic Clutch)
Turbonetics t3/t4 turbocharger (50 trim compressor/.48 exhaust i believe)
HKS standard wastegate (open to atmosphere)
Custom Made Log manifold
3" exhaust all the way back, with bullet presilencer, and Apexi RS muffler
JWT ECU (car has always been dyno tuned by Jim Wolf)
Cobra MAF
Jim Wolf Fuel rail
50lb injectors
fuel pressure regulator with pressure gauge
HKS Air filter (its grey colored filter element, not dirty)
Magencore ignition wires
HKS iridium spark plugs
Bosch Inline Fuel pump
Starion Intercooler w/nitrous fogger triggered by the horn button
Blitz DD blow off valve
SARD blow off valve (for high boost)

150mph gauge cluster (which I was planning to keep).
95 S14 seatbelts
98 S14 base model seats
4pt roll bar (cage)
Pioneer headunit with 12 disc cd changer
Optimus (Radio Shack Brand) 2ch amp to power speakers
Optima Redtop battery relocated to the rear, housed in a marine box
Monster Cable distribution block in place where original battery contact points remain
Summit Racing Digital Air/Fuel gauge
Summit racing Digital oil pressure gauge
Greddy Mechanical boost gauge
Greddy water temp gauge
Pioneer 4x6 speakers in the front doors
Brand New headlight stalk/swtich (these commonly fail on s13's)
Apexi Turbo Timer
Exterior:
Chuki Turn Signal (which I might keep)
180sx H4 headlight housings
Advan RS-RR wheels 15x7 32mm offset 195/60/15 tires up front 205/60/15 in the back
bumper has been trimmed to accomodate more airflow for the intercooler
optional OEM mud flaps
car has been repainted (paintjob is ****ty though)
Also included: 2 (10lbs nitrous bottles)
Factory Gauge Cluster.
USDM Headlight housings
Problems:
Manifold is missing one bolt that holds the turbo to manifold, I'd recommend a fmax manifold to replace this one. There is no boost leak however.
the load bearing points (where the spare jacks go) are kinda messed up since the prev owner always used a lift (unless you swear by using a spare jack to do your work, this isnt an issue)
Rear interior has been taken out, but it can be put back in..
I have no spare tire for it.
Horn button now triggers the nitrous fogger
The car is at 8-9psi right now, I have it set at minimum boost, which is all I am able to handle on the track. No problems even at 12-15psi.
It's also been safely to 19psi on a race gas mix.
the only dyno sheets I have of this car was when the engine was not built (older setup)

It's pretty safe to say that this motor can do 350whp without problems.
I have yet to dyno the car.
I am asking $6850 or best offer for this car. Buyer smogs car. Feel free to throw offers, but please, dont flame.
I will be keeping a few items that I put on this car.
I would like to keep the S14 Seats on the car, But I leave that up to the buyer.
I might be able to sell the car with a few less parts to adjust the price, but I leave that up to the buyer.
The car's oil has always been changed every 1500-2000 mi.
everything works fine.
NOTHING will be parted out until the car is sold, so please, don't ask about parts.
