Hi, I have some rust under the fuse box in my engine bay where the line of the weld is. Probably from water getting into the weld above the car tire at the wheel wells. I'm just planning to apply some POR15 on both sides of the metal through the engine bay and under the wheel well above the tires.

Problem is.. the location where I have to apply some POR15 is right under the fuse box, and I can't seem to figure out how to move it. No i'm not planning to relocate it or anything, just need to move it a few inches to the side so I have some room to work with, does anyone know how to unbolt / move it aside? The car is a 1998 240sx. (S14 kouki) Also anything I should know about before I move the fuse box a few inches to the side?

As far as I can see there seem to be some huge bundles of wires going into it that can't be removed, was thinkikng there are some bolts I can unbolt to free from being mounted onto engine bay and just move it aside while wires still in it?

And yea I unleashed some spray paint onto the rust for the time being, will sand then POR15 once I figure out how to move this stupid thing =/

Thanks

What do you mean by that? I am not very mechanically inclined and wish to ask a question..
