My friend wants a 240 and I brought up a good idea. Since I was going to drop my old KA in another 240 and sell it. I told him he could buy the 240 and just buy the engine off of me and we could install it. Well I was just wondering what would be a fair price to sell it to him. It is a very clean KA24DE with 79,000 miles on it with an aftermarket intake. Had no problems with it. Please tell me what you think I should sell it to him for, I was thinking around $800.

just give it to him. it's not like you are out any money. my friend gave me his old KA and tranny when he did his swap. and it's not worth $800.

ka = dime a dozen

10 / 12
So, to round up you should sell it to him for 1 cent :coolugh:

A hundred or 3 wouldn't be all to bad though since it has an intake.

IMO no ka is worth more than 500-600 to anybody, much less a friend.
