Hey all,
I came into some time on my hands and decided to take the bull by the horns and make a cupholder. Admittedly it doesn't look oem, but its a lot better than no cupholder at all.

The write-up on what I did, the cost, materials, etc is available here (http://pfm101.com/cupholder/index.html). This was my first time working with these materials so any info from those of you with first hand experience would be greatly appreciated.

Let me know what you think.

but what about those giant double gulps from 7-11? actually, the only thing that i seem to be able to fit in there are 12oz cans. even medium size mcdonald's cups roll around.. and the problem w/ making a cup holder there is it leaves no place to rest your elbow. maybe sports cars weren't meant to have cupholders.

I have an s13 and bottles wedge in the driver's side door pocket just perfect to slide in and out but still hold them during spirited driving. Once you drink off the top 1/3 most soft drink cups fit too. So I'm gonna stick with that.

edit... why doesn't anyone just use the ones that clip onto your window sill?

LOL I submitted it for the installs section but it never got picked up. I took my server offline about 3 months ago and all of my data is stored on a HD thats approxamitely 2400 miles away. Maybe in a few months I will have access again to the stored data but until then it's S.O.L. sorry.

Since I just acquired yet another 240 maybe I will undertake the project once more and take some higher res photo's as the originals were a little blurry anyways.

I think it would've been lost anyway witht he recent trouble we had.
Why'd you drop your website? I was wondering why my emails were bouncing from there!
