Saw this on one of Illvialuver's post but couldnt get a response from him. . . i always see the clear covers and see the housing all silver and chrom-y. . . is this blacked out from the inside actual top/bottom of reflectors? or only around the headlight covers so the top/bottom of the covers reflect black through the headlights?

they look like cheap ebay lights.

that's not even rob's car... we went over that like 100 times.

1. buy some clear cover
2. buy some black spray paint
3. go to town on your housing
4. profit.

That looks goofy without matching corner lights. I think it would look good if all the lighting had the same theme though.

Thanks Nate for the clarification. so the housing is painted then?

The housing edges are painted, not the reflectors. If you paint the reflectors you car will look like the driver headlight:

so youre saying that you want to see less at night?

sounds smart

this gets really confusing without pictures and diagrams for me but im not asking if the reflectors of the headlight dome are painted but the bottom flat portion where (i don't think) the light reflection helps in the illumination.

it seemed as though more than the edges are painted and the black reflection in the headlight dome seems to be coming from somewhere else than the actual dome--> surrounding lens housing? top or bottom of the lens cover?

its amazing how people do shit like this

like put a headlight on a black car which can easily scratch it. even if the car wasnt black i wouldnt do that

if you cant avoid scratching your own car, ide assume you have no proper understanding of optics and lighting performance
