View Full Version : Specific tire size ? (185/40/17)

I am interested to see if there is anyway to get this tire size (185/40/17) or something extremely similar in the US? I even will consider a 185/45/17.
I have seen these sizes on a couple UK sites but nothing that ships here.

uhhhh why would you even waste your time with a width that small for a wheel that diameter?!?!
no matter how you look at it thats the dumbest idea ever. wheels that narrow don't belong on any car, let alone a s chassis. and even if you had the intention to stretch them, that means the wheels probably aren't that wide which would mean the offset probably sucks too.

8" wide wheel figured a 185 would sit nicely on it.

I had to move from 185's on my Honda to 195's cause they stopped selling them here in the States IIRC

your not gunna have any grip up front if your gunna run strected tires on a 8in wheel
