From what I'm told this is one of the cleanest 240's out there. It looks almost stock under the hood!!!! I got my hood popped and instantly dropped...."NOTHING TO SEE HERE". So Im asking 6000 obo really obo. I need cash. thanks for looking.

Switch the disks to the proper side if u track ur car
The vains on the inside are designed to disapate not catch air.

just wondering, why do you want the sc400 and not the 300? The 2j in the 300 is a pretty bullet proof motor compared to the 1uz in the 400. I was a mechanic at lexus for 6 years and I don't think i saw too many older LS/SC400's that were not leaking oil somewhere. I'm not trying to down play the 1uz and say it's a crappy motor, i'm just saying if you buy a sc400 make sure the seals were done recently. plus only the 300 came in a 5 speed and even those are getting hard to find, unless you want auto. anyway GLWS your current 240 is pretty sweet.

My 1uz doesn't leak. And there's conversions to make the 400 manual. And even supra guys put 1uz in there cars.

well the stock 2jz in the 300 had about 225hp, so it had pretty good performance. the stock 1uz v8 in the 400 had 250hp but the car weighed a little more so it wasn't really any faster and it burned more gas and if you were just going for a daily i'd go for the better gas millage. plus if you ever do want to do another swap, the 300 is perfect for a 1j or tt2j and you can keep your auto trans with either one of those motors.

Stock 2j in a sc300 is alot slower then a stock 400. And isn't the 2j a iron block opposed to the all aluminum v8? U can put a 1j or 2j Tt in either car. And if auto I would use te turbo auto trans not the na trans.

I've NEVER seen a 2JZGTE at the junk yard but always 1uz's by the dozen Hmmm??90% of 1uz's will never see even 1/2 the amout of high boosted abuse on the daily as even 20% of 1JZ or 2JZ's that's how much they suck!!No sc400 I've EVER driven has mached the 31-33mpg I've gotten on trips over 1200 mile's on 2JZ power making over 660whp...I don't care who's swapping what or about your personal opinion..I care that my dude doesn't get a garbage car with the tons of problem's I always deal with working on 400's.

Anyway..knight hit me up this week so we can discuss...the car look's even better in person..I'll bring mine out when the motor's done.Glws.

the 2j NA motor sucks ass, I test drove both, gs300 and gs400, and well the 2j felt slower, i like the way the v8 sounds too
