Just got another job offer, in oakland

looking at:
san leandro
san lorenzo
alameda
ashland
richland
el cerrito
piedmont

are the areas im looking ot live at. job is at oakland air port with a rather awesome company.

any thoughts on the matter? Locations good? car scene good? Wife is already looking at jobs at a university of art in SF so her getting a job should be cake since she worked at a high level at a university in japan.

ALSO...if this does happen. can i crash with anyone for a few weeks till i get my first paycheck to move into my apartment? Will fix your car for couch lol.

Oakland's definitely not 'the nice part' of the bay, but I think any part of CA is better than Afghanistan.

alameda isnt that bad IMO san leandro is right next to oakland and some parts can be as bad as oakland
