Hey 240sx brothers post how much hp you have stock, modified, engine swap, etc! just thought it be intresting to see what what everyone is push and whats average 240sx hp we have and you can post how you got there to help others out just post your HP!(whp whatever you like)
my dyno was 210whp 6psi now i have 10psi LOL!

i used to have a mazworx built sr with a 3582r single BB at 18lbs with 447whp

this is my first sr...when my new motor is all finished and together, il update this post :)
currently building a new motor setup, its a Mazworx sleeved and stroked sr22 with a built ve head running a GTX3582r DBB series turbo with the tial turbine houseing...should hopefully be all finished up around may-june. also, conservetively, it should be around low to mid 600whp.

JDM 2JZGTE AUTO
USDM Supra camshafts, USDM Supra 550cc injectors, Apexi AFC Neo, NGK Powerdex wideband, Greddy boost cut controller, Greddy speed cut controller, 3" CX racing downpipe, 3" Megan OE Type II, PTE 6265 .68A/r turbo, Treadstone manifold, Tial wastegate,Tial blow off valve, Godspeed intercooler and 2.5" piping.
dyno tuned with the old factory twins and the slightly tweeked on the street.
put back on the dyno and it did 410whp on a Mustang Dyno on 14.5psi through an auto on 93 octane. and it did mid 418whp or so on 14.5psi on a differant dyno... this car HATES the dyno. car won't stay in 3rd gear. so the tune has never been "spot on" plus the car hit a fuel cut...which won't happen anymore do to major fuel upgrade.

S13 coupe Na Sr 150 crazy ponies at the wheels. S13 hatch with a 256xxx miles 130 stump ripping ft lbs of torque. My old tt 300z never got to dyno it but it felt like at thousand horsies and it only had 88thousand miles.

My S14 with S14 SR20DET dyon'd 251rwhp at 13psi with stock T28, stock injectors, stock ecu, stock maf, 3" DP + TP, FMIC, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, intake, Blitz SBC i-D electronic boost controller and an Apex'i Hybrid Megaphone Exhaust.
Here's my dyno graph with a simple SAFCII tune.
The red plot was without any of the dyno tuning at stock boost levels.
The blue plot is the 13PSI with SAFC tune:

Dyno tuner who doesn't know what he is doing... And I'm pretty sure a meth nozzle that was too big for the weather(it was cold) and the meth couldn't evaporate fast enough.. It bogged bad once it hit boost and started spraying meth..
Yo Steve.. Any dyno days coming up? I also have some cams I need to put on and possibly a Haltech standalone coming soon...

Well my old car with the same crap on it made 145hp / 153 tq at the wheels, current car has the same shit + BCv2 cams, so I'm guessing I'm not far from 150 / 150 with my current car.
Mostly stock KA's. LOL, car is slow down the straights.

you rught thats sounds about right. i plan to boost the ca at 10psi or 12psi max should be good enough for a daily with some bolt ons like xhaust and lsd and suspension for track later :eek3d:.

but that was a long time ago and i haven't had it on the dyno since. going to get it dyno tuned soon though with a fresh built motor, shooting for 550-600 whp on 93 oct. darin dichiara is going to tune it and says it should make 600 whp easy, we'll see.

I built a high compression 11:1 engine. Im keeping that info a secret. My compression @ each cylinder is 220psi. and boosting 12psi. From a brand new GT2560r.
This makes for a very responsive engine with virtually no turbo lag.Power comes on early . Here is the list of mods:

Not all 240's but all SR's that ive done:
My personal B13 SE-R, stock SR20VE block w/ Eagle rods CP 8.5:1 pistons, DE head w/BC springs and retainers, dual groove shim mod, S4 cams, Ebay topmount manifold, 60 trim t3 w/ .82 turbine housing, stock DE intake manifold and throttle body, 740cc injectors, Calum Basic ecu w/ modified chips done by me. 461whp,391wtq 24psi car went
[email protected]
Same setup as above but with a custom intake manifold and Q45 throttle body and 30psi of boost: Roughly 550whp, 450wtq, car went 108mph in the 1/8th sputtering due to a boost leak and then popped the leaking coupler.
Same setup as above but with a T67 H.O. T3 w/ .82 turbine, Custom nice topmount tubular manifold, JWT C2 cams, 8700 rpm rev limiter, AEM EMS w/ 5 bar map sensor, ID1000 injectors, Dual Fuel pumps, upgraded fuel lines. 6 speed Spec V trans: Made 481whp on 19psi, Went to 35psi of boost later when I figured out some ignition issues, 35psi was roughly making about 650whp based on the fact I was maxing my ID1000's out on 60psi base pressure. Never got back to the dyno to find out. Was doing almost 140mph in the 1/4 bogging and spinning all the way down the track. There is over 13k miles on the motor now that I put together and bottom end is still perfect.
New setup is a Mazworx sleeved and stepped block, 86mm 9:1 SR20VE CP pistons w/ upgraded wrist pins, Custom Crower Billet I beam rods, ACL bearings as always, SR20VE head w/ Supertech springs and retainers, SR16VE N1 cams, BW S400SX 67mm turbo, custom topmount T4 manifold, even bigger fuel pump and ID2000's, still on the AEM EMS, shooting for 800-900whp range reving to 10k rpm. Setup will be done in May.
Some 240's ive done,
Freshly rebuilt S13 motor on a 2871R 18psi 371whp on chipped ecu and race gas
Built internal S14 motor on a T3 50 trim, 380whp on chipped ecu w/ SAFC II
There are a couple more stockish ones ive done but arnt worth even posting details. T25 on 8-12psi ranging from 205whp to 240whp

well i dont have a 240 but i seen one with some monster stickers on it, it must have been pushing 500 hp on stock ka just from the stickers alone. he might of even had them on his rims for better stance. i bet if you put them on stock struts it will transform them into coils. HAHAHAH

One could easily do that with cam and a set of decent headers.... doing a hotswap ls6 cam would make about 420 to the crank, given its a t56 and drivetrain loss i say that it should make some where in the ball park of 360whp. So with a decent cam like Xtreme RPM High Lift XR281HR, one could easily make that kind of power naturally aspirated. But I wouldn't do that with out heads, intake, exhaust, etc...

a rb20 with gtr injectors and a rb25 turbo, max tune can get you 280/90 whp with fill bolt ons.
with what you have and no psi increase i see about 220-30whp

You just need a DSM 1G CAS, some colipacks, it can be from SR's or w/e. I'm using ralliart one's. And then you'll just need to rewire all plugs with the DSM ECU and eliminate the maf and put a map sensor.

- Tomei 260* Procams/solid lifters
- Wiseco 86.5mm pistons (9:1)/Eagle rods

Here is my old DYno graph this is same mods as sig except on 15psi and e85. I Am also running e85 all the time now. I'm going this Saturday to DYno again with my Isis 3871 turbo at 19-20 psi so I hope to be a bit higher.

Redtop SR, stock internals, S15 turbo @ 10psi, Veilside racerom to max the 370's, greddy FMIC and RS BOV, Apexi air filter, walbaro 255 and Nismo FPR.
maybe 170 at the wheels, 175 with the new one peice driveshaft ?
highly doubt I'm in the 200 club untill I run her on a dyno to prove.

I've got a Redtop SR20DET making 212whp and 198wtq with the following setup:
s15 turbo
apex'i intake
greddy fmic
stock 370cc injectors
stock manifolds
stock ecu
3" aftermarket cat.
3" turbo elbow
3" rsr downpipe
3" apex'i exhaust
walbro 255 fuel pump
hks ebc set at 9.5psi, 10.5psi made 219whp but was a little too lean mid range in the power band.

You should be at around 260 or so depending on the dyno with a flash tune. It'll be a fun car!
