Hi Im
Running rich, and ive ruled
Out a list of things. I dont have tools on me
Cuz theyre at my gfs house 60miles away but i dont wanna drive my
Car that far in its state.
Gas is getting in oil.
Random puffs of grey smoke at idle when warm.
A whopping 8mpg!
Black soot on bumper and on floor if i stay stoppd long enuff. Idle is fine at 900-1000
No power over 4k feels so slow n slugggish hardly reaches 6k rpm.
Just super rich in general.
So if someone can help me check for
Leaky fuel inj
Bad tps/knocksensor/fpr
Bad 02/maf
Anything else u think will help me fix
I will gladly pay you! But im not the richest guy in the world..

the fuel pump pumping too much? i doubt it. i'd guess the regulator, or completely gone rings

Take it to Superior Nissan in Mission Hills (Sepulveda/Brand). They'll diagnose your problem for free. That's how I solved a suspension issue that was baffling me for months!

if gas is getting into the oil i would heavily lean towards your problem being either a broken piston ring(s), damaged piston(s), or damaged/cracked cylinder(s) wall(s).
it is absolutely possible there are issues with the other items you are asking for help checking into. but, none of them would cause gas to end up in the oil. the only place the oil and gas physically come closest to each other is above and below the piston. if one of the components in that area (piston and ring, cylinder wall) are cracked it could let gas blow through into the underside of the piston which would put the gas into the oil.
hopefully another zilvian in your area can hook up with you and help you look into the engine by removing the head and inspecting.
if you left out "gas is getting in oil" i would have gone into diagnosing it running rich. a really plugged up air filter can cause it to run rich.
peace and good luck

do a compression test first.chances r you have very low compression due to bad rings and gas seaps past and blows into crank case.Start there , Also a bad fuel pressure regulator with leaking diaphragm will suck fuel via vacuum hose into intake .. Seen it happen ,its rare but it happens...wont cause oil in crank case but will make it run rich.

i ran this through a buddy that is a great mechanic and the first thing he said was check the head gasket. the grey smoke may be coolant. one thing is for sure bro, you need to get access to your tools or a mechanic buddy.
