Ok I think its the EGR valve or part of the EGR system because thats the first thing the FSM said to remover when taking off the fuel rail but it looks like a little 3 inch wide circular disk in the middle of the engine toward the back to the left of the 3rd fuel injector.

Well it has two lines going into it on top and then one wide tube underneath it going down from the bottom/middle

When I unscrewed the bolts holding that circular thing on and lifted it up the tube looked like it was ripped apart or cut

so my question is does that tube lead to something important that i should go fix it tommorrow or will it be fine for a couple more days since it must have been like that for months

i would have a picture but my camera is broken

That is the BPT valve, it controls the EGR. If you want to remove your entire EGR valve, you will need a plug for your header/exhaust manifold, and a block off plate for your EGR - > intake manifold. Then, you can ditch the EGR and BPT completely -- but you wont be able to pass smog, my friend.

Oh, while you're at it.. ditch the AIV too! :) You'll need a plug for that port as well.
