First off, wrong section.
Second of all, being that you're in socal I would suggest you attend a beginner drift practice session at willow with a group like 626, touke, justdrife, etc. The staff is extremely helpful and willing to show/help new comers just don't be shy and go out there to have fun.

I think you PAY for those ^^^^
Like... pay to get instructed.
626, just drift, etc.
you pay for the event, and you have 10 different people that can help instruct you.

It's in Alhambra every Friday night starting at 10pm. There is a thread in the south western section. Come on out! 626 Drift is definitely a good place to start drifting.

You're next to me and you sold your Mustang GT for a Sr20? Bad idea, but to each their own.
626 guys are awesome.
I think they're starting up their events soon. Check the motorsports section, they are usually pretty common.
