ok i have a redtop sr20det i put it in about a year ago and i have put a 1000 miles on it or so since then. but now i drive it and it starts to sputter, like i will be driving and i will be in four gear and it will start doing it and then i will stop. it seems i be happening more and more now. i also have noticed that at idle the rpms go from 700 to 850 maybe even 900. my ? is what do you think it could be. i have a new fuel pump a walbor i have a new fuel filter so i don't think it is them. could it be dirty injectors, bad spark plugs, vac leak, before i put the motor in the car had some gas that was sitting in it for about 6 mounths, but it was very little i have filled my tank up many of time so i do not think it is bad gas.
it is starting to really **** me off so if you could help me that would be great!!!! also could it be my o2.

i was also thinking that it could be the timing, how hard is it to check the timing. i also wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.

Usually if it has a problem idling and also has a bit of a miss it is usually associated with a vacuum/boost leak. Does it occur at specific boost reading? My CA has slight miss/stutter at 0 boost, but that is from a leaky intercooler piping.

You have a Turbo XS BOV right? A buddy of mine has one too and it is all leaky on him too. Try looking at that.

If you need any help.... you know where I work bro.

I would go this route too. The BOV is probably sticking open a bit causing the car to run rich, and sputter.
