My car seems like it is bogged down when I start off. Also, it studders alot whenever I get low rpm's in any gear. Like it has no torque. Could this be the problem?

Does it smell bad? A bad catalytic converter will smell like rotten eggs or sulphur.
It could be, but it could be other things, too.

what year / engine? Do you have stock exhaust? Is either muffler clogged (tap the bottom)? Were you running really rich?
Clogged cats can also make a bolt rattling in a tin can sound...
Worst case scenerio try to pull the cat off, it should look like a solid honeycomb material on the inside, if not - it's cat time.

Yeah, it smells like sulphur. But I thought all cats, good or bad, smell like that. 91 KADE. My exhaust is stock, but I have no muffler.

A catalytic converter that's in good running order shouldn't leave any sort of smell coming through the exhaust.
You can get a Random Technologies or whatever other brand of high flow catalytic converter for cheaper than you could get a new stock one. There's always the junkyard route, too.
If you've got no muffler now, I highly recommend you keep some sort of catalytic converter on there, unless you want the most obnoxious car in the world (this side of an unmuffled N/A RX7).
