lol gee sorri. it doesn't say it was auto anywhere... i can't really surf to alot of outside sites or the admins will take notice of my rampant internet usage. (i'm at work) i'm assuming it said it wuz auto on cardomain?

oh woops - sorri for the misunderstanding
:hammer: <- bashing myself :p
We actually bought a 98 Maxima 5Spd. We made one payment and am selling it to a friend today. We needed it for a baby Car but we couldnt handle the FWD. We managed to fit the baby seat/stroller in the Hatchbacks :D
Only thing I liked about the max was it was comfy for road trips and got like 400 miles per tank on the highway. We filled up 3 time to get from Denver to Chicago and still had a 1/4 tank left.

lol! that's the first time i heard anyone say they couldn't handle the fwd. but yeah, i kno what u mean. when i drive my mom's 3.2 tl auto tranny + fwd, its scary. i mean u take your foot off the gas and it just keeps going. and it glides over the pavement! where's the road??? giant potholes for my 240 are like pebbles to the 3.2's suspension. i feel like im flying when i drive that car (at 25mph -_-") the way it turns is freaky too. feels like a tank compared to the 240. i can't imagine how people drive SUVs.
btw nismos14, i hope i didnt sound like i was flaming u or the maxima. the maxima is a GREAT car. my mom bought a 92 and drove it until this year. and it never had a single problem. at 160,000 miles im positive it could've gone to 200k+. just treat her right.

no worries aznpoopy
basically the 240 had its share of problems. sweet car yes, auto tranny for one  that sucked i couldnt stand it lol the maxima just fit perfectly into everything for one its rare, there aren't too many 5 speed max's around here. 2 with just a couple of mods its already near mid 14's in the 1/4 3 the VQ engine has so much more power than the KA right out of the box, plus the torque at pretty much all points in the power band is great, and not to mention that it has one of the top 5 engines for the past 6 years running, its an incredible engine, 99% of the time its on, i don't even hear it because of how quietly it idles, it gives very good gains per each mod done to it and if i go turbo, which i might, even with 102,000 miles on it, i can boost to about ~7 PSI and put close to 275 down at the wheels, its agreat platform to work with, there's only a couple of things that i dont like about it.... at this point and time with the mods i have done to it so far: Intake, Y-pipe, h & r springs and tokico shocks, i enjoy it much more than i enjoyed the 240
but dont fear guys, i should be back one day with either a Ka-T s14, or a z32 tt, im not quite sure yet which way i want to go, but it will be sometime before either of those options takes place :)
