Your car shouldn't be on stands if you are installing sway bars. You have to do it with your suspension under load.

Other than that, I have no experience with ST sways so I can't help w/out pics or a better description.

Edit: Just checked out your site. Nice looking car but how's the car sound with all the carpet out of the trunk and no back seats? Doesn't it rattle like crazy inside and out?

The instructions say to do it this way...

Umm.. The sound is louder... the back deck (speaker thing) rattels like hell somtimes.. Guna stick some sound foam under it...

EDIT: I'm guna do a makeshift fix... Untell somone with this setup tells me what they did..

I know of no swaybar larger or better than the stock one I have on the S-13 /89SE performance option

Now, is the bushing bottoming out causing frame to wheel vibration and sound?

Fill us in dude? !

Next post pic..

Ok...

Here is what its going on.... or was...

Look at the pic 1st then you will get what I mean...

All 4 bolts that they gave me are the same leangth... So when I have the small spacer on the rear of the car... the Nut will bottem out on the bolt.. IE: run outa threds...

All I did to fix this... is added enough washers to the bottem of the system (as to not change any mounting spots) so that the nut would not run outa threds on the bolt...

Anyone with the ST swaybars could tell me what was up with theres would be nice... I have mine working for now...

And they work VERY good.

EDIT: (Speling erors)

IIRC all stock sway bars are hollow. Whiteline, ST, and cusco sways are all solid. Not much bigger around in the front but much stiffer, rear is a good bit larger around and ofcourse solid and stiffer than stock.

your car should be under load while installing sway bars? how do ppl usually do it? with those ramps? now i think im going to be having a hard time installing my sway bars because even with the ramp, there is so little space to work under..

or you can just compress one of the wheels with a jack, that way you have enough slack to install the end links.

I think the car being under load is a bunch of bull...

It tells you to jack up the car and take the wheels off...

it does NOT say put it under load.... It not like there can be any load if you look at it anyways.... The only load is one wheel vrs the other wheel... So it does not matter how you put it on... the load is created when one wheel is not in the same spot as the other... IE: in a corner... It tries to twist the bar. the bar does nothing or very very little if the wheels are not acting aganst echother!

Anyways...

Dear Red,

1 -- YOU MUST COMPRESS THE WHEEL(S) TO TIGHTEN THE ENDLINKS
2 -- YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE AN ELECTRIC TURBO WITH A LEAF BLOWER
3 -- YOU ARE AN IDIOT

lol

1: Anyways... Maby YOU had to compress your wheels. If you even have swaybars?? Maby you just talk out your ***. Or you had a set that was not ST.

2: About the Electric fans... Yeah I have em installd and use them... They help bring up the richness. I just have not got a dyno yet. (you dont like it? (GOOD!) As I said I'm here to **** you off old_s13

3: You can think what you want... the fact is.. you dont faze me... The only reason I choose to reply to you is.... (I like to **** you off)

Happy? I Am!

Why dont you quit posting unless your going to awnser my question?

I did not ask you how to install it... I asked does the short spacer go on the front or back... I also said... The bolt is to long I run out of threds... I never said.. I can't get the endlink on...

Did you even read it?
