your car looks good. red looks hot on s13s like ucic and hondamatics cars. your car looks clean too. love that look. do s13s come in a brighter red? most them i seen are the red like 240silvia' color, but ucic and hondamatic's cars are brighter? is that a factory color or is it custom paint or possible they photoshoped and made it brighter.

Looks better IMO, otherwise get rid of your spoiler, but I guess I am just into spoilerless coupes, or the kouike 180sx spoiler, looks pretty good from what I have seen.

looks the same to me, but yours are shiny as hell, but has a few dings in them too. :) battle scars from the curb?

I believe that the reason why the rims look different is because in that picture, it looks like only the top of your rim looks polished or whatever the finish is, and mine have that look all over. As for the 3 finger JDM look, the angle of the picture throws off the fender gap. Also, it was already lowered when I got the car, but the springs were just heated. Rides suprisingly well. I am planning to do my suspension next, as soon as the SR swap is finished.

Why do people list mods they havent accomplished yet? Are you trying to get a jump start on something?

Why do people list mods in their signatures? Are you trying to tell everyone in the world what you have done to your car, do you want it to get stolen? If so, why not just setup a web page.. atleast we'de be able to see the car with pics, not some signature list that just takes up space with each post you make.

Its a stock car, its nice.. but how about getting started on some wrenching!

Ok, enough is enough, all this crap about using the word clean has gotten really stupid. I need to get something off my chest...


I'm sory if i offend anybody by saying this, but why do you people get all butt hurt when some says a stock car is clean? Its not like every stock car is clean. I've seen 240s that were all stock but looked like ass; bad paint, ass loads of rust, etc. I dont see those cars and say "Oh thats clean." Now if i saw, lets say a stock 89 240, and it was in excellent condition; i mean nearly flawless paint, no rust, no dents, flawless interior...you know like showroom condition, you bet your ass im gonna say its clean.

So what if its stock looking, atleast appreciated the car for what it is and how the guy has maintained it.

Its funny to me how people are so quick to bag on ricers and then are the same people who turn around and get in a fit just because somebody called a 240 thats in really nice condition "clean". Yeah, the ricer crap is dumb, but you guys dont appreciate stock either?

So does that mean for any 240 to be dubbed "clean" it has to have aftermarket parts that fit YOUR tastes? It has to meet YOUR approval? :rolleyes:

Anyways, to 240silvia, nice car man, very CLEAN ! (Oh no, I said it... :rolleyes: ) Cant wait to see the finished product!

old_s13... There is a shop doing the install, so it's kinda hard to start stuff myself. They will call me when they are ready for the car. Also, what's the first thing people ask when you say what kind of car you have.... "What do you have done?" The signature mods eliminates that question. So how about you don't worry about me, the post was to ask opinions about my car, not my actions.:bow:

Everyone on here always posts pics of their car when they first get it. I've seen a lot of them. When the install gets done, should be next Saturday, I'll post pics again. Then you can give me your real opinion. Until then...

looks fine. nothing spectacular but its not poor or crappy looking by the means of some other cars on here, hope to see it advance some more

but i would have gotten a SR radiator and kept the clutch fan for sure.
stock SR? w/ FMIC? seems wasteful to me. SMIC is better for relatively stock power and responsiveness

I agree, however, do you think that it's going to stay stock. I have some things in mind. First thing which will probably come in about 2 weeks or so is an AVC-R. I want to up the boost to 10 lbs. Then other stuff, Rocker arm stoppers, cams, cam gears. You remember the issure of Sport Compact Car where they spent 7K just for prepping the engine for a huge turbo. Well that's kinda what I did except on a smaller scale. The intercooler and the fuel pump are all I have done to prep so far. But it will get there, but it no way is it staying stock. So Dousan.... are you trying to say that I can't drive??? That's what it sounds like. Or was your post directed to vlow? If that was the case, you should of pm'ed him, because it sounds like you are talking about me.

And RoNiN, the lip only came with the hatchback, I've never seen a coupe with that lip, also, I put one on there, and it covered up some of the intercooler so I took it off. Also, the whole concept of the outside of the car is so people won't notice it. The only thing you can tell about the car is the intercooler and the exhaust. And if you don't see the front of the car, are you going to think it's fast???? I didn't think so, and that's what I like. I'm out of the whole body kit stage, I like the stock look. I will probably end up doing a silvia conversion to the front, but there won't be a kit that follows it. I just hope that I can get the stock Silvia bumper.

This car means a lot to me because I'm only 18, and I used all of my own money for the car and for the swap, I didn't have to dig into daddy's pocket for anything. And if you ask me, I think that's a hell of an acomplishment.:bow:

Also, today was the first time I've been able to get on my clutch. I caught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. I was pleased, power to Nismo!
