well i was trying to install my 5zigen fireball tonight, i got the stock system off, but the bolts from the cat broke off, so we couldn't install the new one until we got them off, we tried a hacksaw, dremel, and a saws all, also tried a hammer and chisel, nothing worked, so i had to drive from kansas city to lawrence (30 miles) with no exhaust after the cat.  the thing is loud as ####, sounds like a race car, pretty crappy down low, but above 5000 rpm's the thing screams, it's also pretty #### fast too, probably got a 20hp gain, anyway, my ears hurt

also, anybody i drove by, including a modified civic hb, audi tt, and a channel 6 news station wagon wanted to race me, pretty humorous night

i guess i'll just have to go to midas and cough up 20 bucks for the install

i dunno if i lost a lot or not, it's hard to tell.  a lot of things in the car were shaking and making noise, including the seats.  therefor i couldn't really sense any performace gain or loss through the seat of my pants.  it wasn't until i downshifted into 4th at 85 and watched the speedo that i noticed the difference.

as far as the 20 dollar install goes, all they have to do is get a cutting torch, get the two bolts off, then take the two new bolts and put the new exhuast on.  it shouldn't take any more than 10 min. me and my friend got the stock one off in 30 min.

low end loss i hear isnt that great. but it took a shop 15-20 minutes to install my exhaust. I went to go eat a sandwich at the deli next door real quick to come back and watch some of the install, but when i was done, They already finished.  Its really easy on a 240sx if you have access to a lift.

nismo it will sound nasty.  i prefer it only be done to trucks...i did it to my nissan pickup...but for cars, i think it will sound to 'ballsy' dont know how to explain it.  i want a 5zigen fireball freakin bad.
