Us Coloradans are one of the reasons god made Cold Cranking Amps over 750. relocate it to the trunk. reasons to do this:
offsets some weight to the trunk
cleans up engine bay
blast your music with no worry
never late to work, b/c always starts

also would recommend a Quest Alt

also would recommend a Quest Alt

And this! Rb sereies need a quest alternator. Put a volt tester to your battery before and after you do this. I have a write up to install a quest alternator to a rb20det.

Double check your wiring, I had a problem like that with my S13 when I had the RB20 in it. It turns out that even after I turned the car off the alternator stayed on and burned it self out. I killed like 3 of them before the alternator rebuild shop found the problem for me.

*SIGH* Sooo many things about this thread...

Why do you think they make bigger batteries for? Not because it's take more space. Bigger battery more power it holds. A lawn mower battery is for a freaking lawn mower. I swear every time I see one of those in a car I want to punch someone.
So when your looking for a smaller battery you need to figure out how much it takes to crank over your motor. For you u have a RB so it may a lil more than most.

A relocating your batter to your truck is a good idea so you can use a bigger battery too. That is the only reason I would every do it but I don't need to.

2 things you need to do:

Get a volt meter. Check your wires and battery.

Get a better battery with more Cold Cranking power. Find out how much u need to start your motor.

This is the battery (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ULT-9073-167/)I use. I only have a KA but I have a about 520 RMS in sound stuff and HID. I need to keep my battery top off once in a while with this charger (http://batterytender.com/automotive/battery-tender-junior-12v-at-0-75a.html). I know I got my charger for only 20 bucks somewhere else.
kinetic batteries are great but I wouldn't go with the HC600 go with the HC800. But really do some research it goes a long way.
