why don't you sell the 300zx rims and get a 5-speed swap? or a get a cat-back exhaust system?

Better yet, why don't you trade it in for a five-speed?

Do you have the stock air filter? If so, have you noticed what the humidity is like when the car isn't performing well? I noticed when I had my stock airbox that on really humid days, the filter got moistened and drew less air, which gave me really crappy performance

ehhh...you aren't switching between 93 octane gas and urine by chance are you? Urine seriously affects the performance of your car.

Nismos14

mine used to do that. Last 2 in fact.
Humidity probly like the man said.
Come to think of it i havent noticed it since my
hks superdragger catback and intake.
I fear it`ll return in the summer though with the warmer air.

Try using 93 octane....new plugs, wires, distrubutor cap, and maybe have your injectors professionally cleaned. Also, get a K&N filter. It may run better at night, because the air is cooler and more dense...also...if the engine block it cold..it will run tighter than if its been heated up. Also....if you have the AC/heater on...it will sap engine power as its run off the belt. Theres an electric fan upgrade out there somewhere.....I think it requires some rewiring with the fuse box or something.

i believe you should do the exhaust and intake combo. it maybe a little more than you can fit in your budget but it may do the trick

yeah, summers suck especially with intake. in the colder weather the car feels more alive. I do have that feeling sometimes, but it's just me, sometimes I just wanna cruise and save some gas.

but once in a while, open it up, floor it all the way down until it shifts at redline, wake that car up, and wake yourself up! that's what I do in the morning when I go to school. I floor it on the on ramp and leave it there till I get to 100, and if there are no cars, I go higher, that makes it feel better all day.
