I have a 94 240sx se with a stock ka. I am having an issue get it to start, I had the starter and battery checked and boyh passed, i bypassed the clutch switch which finally got it started. But I drove the car down the road to the gas station and shut it off, when I tried to start it, it wouldn't even turn over let alone click or anything. The starter relay will click when I try to fire it but that's about it. I'm out of ideas as of where to go next, any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Check your grounds. Make sure they are all clean. Then clean your positive terminal. Clean your pos terminal on the starter too and clean the trigger wire on the starter. If that doesn't help my guess would be its the starter..happened to me and drove me insane!

Now I took the started to advanced and had it tested and it's just where it supposed to be amps wise. All the terminals are clean at all connection points as well. Could it be anything to do with the relay or ignition switch?

you should test the starter signal wire going to the starter and test the ignition switch.

This is where I get a bit foggy, how do I check both of those?

grab a meter and check to see if you get full 12v at the ignition switch when you turn the key to on. Check the constant 12v power and check to see if the starter signal wire gets 12v when turning to the key to the cranking position. Then test the signal wire on the other end at the starter. My friend had a short in his starter signal wire and I had to run a new one for him.

Alright I checked the voltage on the started signal wire and I have the 12v. Now I'm lead to the ignition switch but im not 100% where to start, I mean I know where it's at I just have no clue how to check it; any suggestions?

on the back of the switch (the oppossite end of where the key goes in) you will see where all the ignition wires are connected. Use a meter and make sure all the ignition wires get full 12v when they are supposed to. Also check all your fuses with your meter.
