would a matching set of cam caps work from another head? the tolerances would be the same no?

i'm not trying to shit in your thread, i'm trying to be polite and help out you or a potential buyer who will be screwed when they try to a. build it, b. pay to get it machined, or c. destroy a cam and then come after you. you should market them as "spare parts" heads or something. why don't you do some research, because you don't seem to know what you are talking about. they will DEF need to be professionally checked at the least and potentially line bored...if they're not one of the camshafts will potentially grab or snag. why do you think it is SOOOO important when doing head work to keep the cam caps/hardware in EXACT order down the direction they face?

ok mr awesome spam my thread and ruin any possible sales.... every single nissan head that has not been machined has been made to the exact single specs of one another...the only thing you would have to worry about would be the grains that the cam had written in the oil clearences. aside from that nothing. please get off my thread.

for the sellers to disregard what fuck face said: imagine youre putting an engine together... for you to install any sort of aftermarket cams with out machine work would not meet the spec said with out machine work. yet people do it everyday with out flaw. the thing is if you want you engine to be perfect and meet every spec youll have to get a line bore anytime you remove the cams. spec says if you put any sort of weight on a head gasket it must be replaced immediately... ive been doing this for ten year...5 professionally. im not a frequent to forums but i do know what im talking about. this kind of flaming is rediculous. the prices are more then fair for what is listed. im not selling broken parts or blown up things. just what i have laying around. take it or leave it what is shown is what you get. except i may clean it for you. lol.

Yo, you need the correct cam caps for the head period. The last cylinder head I bought came with the cam caps from a different cylinder head (seller was shady-ish).. The cams would not turn at all after torquing down all the cam caps.. You do not know what you are talking about. I highly doubt that you have "been doing this for ten year...5 professionally"...
