See any problems with this setup, 225/45/17 tires w/300zx brakes and Tein Flex Coilovers? Thanks in advance. :D
Is this for an 14?
I would imagine 8.5 would be to wide with +30. Get +25.
My 17x8 +35 235/40/17 needed a 5 mm spacer to clear my coils on my s14.

I don't think you'll clear your coilovers in front with 225's. I bet they would work with 215's.
Do you have an S13 or s14?

S14. I'm not deadset on that offset, just trying to figure out what will work. I tried searching, but there are too many differing opinions. I plan to use this setup for daily driving, occasional autocross. I don't plan on doing any drifting, at least not right now. ;)

well just for reference, I have 17x8 +35 with 215 tires, and have about 5mm b/w the tire and spring
but I have an s13.. I think the only difference is fender clearance.. i.e you can run a bit lower offset than an s13 without haveing to add as much camber.. know what I mean?
What other offsets are available?

I believe they have +22 and +40 as there other options. I could get the +40 and use wheel spacers, but I'd rather not do that, as I would have to guess at there correct size. I don't have the Teins yet, gotta get new wheels first... :(

Wait a minute, would the +22 actually work better? I could also go staggered, but I'd rather be able to rotate my tires...
I'm new at this whole offset thing, I'd rather not run any screwy/crazy camber just to make wheels fit, if you know what I mean...

+22 would work better, but you have to roll your fenders.
I would probably just opt for the 7.5" wide wheels myself.

Would a 17x7.5 with a 30 offset work?

Don't get a 7.5 inch Volk. I have 17x8.5 SE-37K's and it fit fine with 225 tires and my Tein Flex (very close in the back but ok - no rolling of fender required). However, for drifting, I would have preferrd to go with the +22 in the front and probably rear too.

You Rock! Thanks, exactly the answer I was looking for! I don't plan to do any drifting... I just want the wheels to be relatively flush, fit the brakes, and not rub the coilovers... Thanks Bwalker, ordering my Volks tomorrow... BTW, sweet car... :D
