i apparently need new tierod ends... but ihaven't looked into install. how difficult is replacing them yourself? keep in mind i have a full garage of air tools, and did my own shocks/struts.

If you have replaced your shocks before then this should be a breeze, shouldnt even need Air Tools.

Tools Needed:
Cresent Wrench
Needle Nose Pliers
Screwdriver
Hammer (mallet-heavy one for ball joint)
19mm Wrench

Aaron's short explanation of install for inner + outer tie rods:
Jack car and place jack stands
Remove Wheels
Turn wheel (easy access to tie rods)
Remove cover boot on inner rod (has a wire strap type deal holding it
Pull the boot forward to expose ball joint (beware, its greasy and messy)
Loosen ball joint on tie rod endlink. Bang out
Now loosen and remove the inner rod
COUNT THREADS! VERY IMPORTANT!
Install (reverse of above) torque to specs
Cover boot back over the rack.
Do other side (same process)
Put wheels on and drive off!
GET AN ALIGNMENT

My understanding is that Moog parts are essentially stock replacement stuff.

I'm interested in the tie rod ends, but I'd like to not be waiting around until you get the money. How close are you to getting what you need for the minimum order?

They are essentially oem replacements, the outer tie rod has a nipple that will allow you to add grease as needed.

As far as orders, we would be a little over halfway there if everyone is going to order who says they are. We would need another $225 in orders, so 2-3 people if everyone below is in.

Got under the car last night and I've got a wheel bearing on one of my Z hubs going out and a leaky oil sending unit. I don't wanna order any new stuff until I've gotten these broken things fixed (especially that wheel bearing, it gives me the heebie jeebies).

Oh, okay... do we still have to wait for a $600 total (or whatever it was) before the order can be placed? 4-6 weeks isn't too bad, but I could order from PDM and spend an extra $5 and get them in 3 days or so.

I'm not in a rush, just wondering if it would be time on top of the delivery time waiting for enough ppl to jump in. I got discouraged after seeing Eyescream and 240Degrees drop out.

Just FYI, we some orders in Yesterday and took some pictures, compared them to stock and vs the Teins. They are defiantly beefier then stock Tie Rods. The Tie Rod Ends are way beefier then Teins, however the Teins are a tad more beefier then for the Inner's. Look for the comparison in the Chat section.

I checked and they dont have Adjustable Arms, they do have Adjustable Camber Bolts, If you know a part # for Arms, let me know and I will check for you. Email me for a quote.

I just emailed gearhead. I need the inner and outer tie rods now! if they are instock I will order them right away. otherwise I will get them through PDM. I need an alignment and am waiting to get the tie rods installed so I don't have to do it twice.
