Here we have a 1984 Toyota Corolla, better known to the tuning/drifting world as an AE86. They are a rwd car, consisting of both an SR5 model and the GTS model. Mine is the former, SR5 model, which means you get the 4AC engine, a 4cyl good for about 86hp, which is about all these cars need. It has been rebuilt and since I have put right around 25k miles on the new motor so it is well broken in. The car is not in perfect condition, which is expected of a 26 year old car. The interior is stripped save for the dash, front seats, and a rear seat from an S13 240sx. It is honestly at the point of becoming a track car but I needed a daily so I have been driving it as such so it will continue to gain miles as this posting ages. I've made several long drives in this car without ANY problems. Been to San Antonio, TX and back, 24hr drive. I've driven to Fayetteville, AR and back, 10hr drive, as well as to Memphis, TN and back, 5hr drive, without any problems. The car is slammed, you've got about 1.5" of clearance to the frame rails on this car. It's fine to drive so long as you can avoid any major bumps. I would keep it if I could but I've got a Datsun 510 that is my current project and I can't have two. I am looking for $1500 or best offer from my fellow Zilvian's or I'm willing to trade for a daily driver. Not necessarily any make/model specifically so if you're interested let me know what you've got and I may be interested in it. I'd prefer for a rwd car but it's not set in stone. I just really need something that is better suited to daily driving around town instead of built for a race course. The exterior is not perfect but it is being worked on with any spare time I can find. The car was backed into so the hood, grille, and headlights are a bit out of whack but it's all fixable. I've just gotta come up with the time to do it. It doesn't affect the drive-ability of the car, just a cosmetic flaw.
