So i decided to make this thread because every now and then one of us runs into some great find/buy on old / used ish.
But i think i have ran into one of the best finds known to man. As of the beginning of this year i have been eyeing this white 300zx behind this small (sorta sketchy looking shop), today i decided to pull in and take a look. Not only did i find a white one but parked out of sight of where i have seen it(non drive by view) was its TWIN in blue. The cars are not up for sale but they have been behind this sketchy shop for almost a year now and im pretty sure the owner could use a few bucks if i take it off his hands. I couldn't get any pictures but i will post some up tomorrow when i go back during store times to get a better look. If they turn out to be non rust buckets, not only will i have my first car but another for my boy so we can get rid of this 944 project and track the other!
But maybe im not the only one to find there cars/w.e in weird situation post up your stories!

im not really a 240sx guy. after owning a Z32, i want to go back....i found this one on craigslist.
1995 NA, 5 speed, 112k miles, super clean. the only bad thing that i see is that the front bumper has a crack......
i want it and put a TT engine in there.

that is an amazingly clean z32... engine bay is in really great stock looking shape, but i'm really impressed by that interior. barely any cracks or leather stress marks/folds on those leather seats. did the owner even drive this thing? if he did, he must have conditioned that leather daily.

I found the best 240sx out there right now. The person selling it on craigslist says, "I have one of the cleanest s14's out there from all of the ones i have seen it is a super car." Here is the link to it. Have fun laughing.

CUSTOM 240sx!!! (http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/2096883025.html)

underglow kit
Type R Alpine deck
60mpg highway driving.... win!

brother picked up an ae86 for $700 years ago
during the height of Initial D fandom
found out the seller bought for $250 to flip
bad starter and cracked header was all that was wrong with it
sold it for $4000 for build an Integra
I don't let him forget to this day

years later he bought a 91 mint hatch for $1200
from a tiny used car lot a few block from the house
it's mine now

a friend picked up two hatches for $1000 after helping someone with a tranny rebuild

I see deals come every once in a while
just need to have the cash on hand and be ready to act

I picked up a 1993 Z32 2+2 last year for $500. This car is super clean minus the front bumper. The kid i bought it from clamied that the head gasket was blone. It ended up being a crack in the radiator. A buddy of mine had an extra stock radiator that i popped and the car ran great. I then just recently traided the Z (Z's arent my cup of tea..) for a 1993 240 hatch with a very strong running SR.. I got loaaaddddssssss of goodies to come with the car such as HKS BOV, HKS waist gate, some bolt on exhaust, sexy style origin kit, brand new top mount exhaust mani, etc....
WIN/WIN
