Stupid noob question about K&N cone filter size.

So I got an intake adapter plate online, and now I need a K&N filter to go with it... which one do I get? Does anyone know of one that fits/works? How 'bout a part number?

Or do I just find one with a 3" opening?

well if its the normal MAF adapters that you can buy on eBay for like 10 bucks.. its most likely 3.5"


if you are planning to purchse this filter on eBay 3.5 is the norm.
if you are going to kragen to get a KN cone filter just bring the MAF adapter with you. or you can measure it w/ a ruler.

you are going to also need a breather you can purchase those for about 10-20 bucks as well.

oh yea if you have a sohc like i did you want a cone filter w/ a flat top that way you can drill a hole and put that air temp sensor thinggie in there...

i ended up w/ a blitz SS style cone filter from Check Point.
