I purchased something from this guy gk240 and this guy said he shipped usps, then i asked for tracking number and he actually said " not tracking number is cost extra" :wtf: is what I thought. Am i wrong, does a tracking number for usps cost extra. I told this guy the tracking number is on the shipping receipt he got after he shipped it. Is this guy just clueless or am I being scammed or am I wrong about this extra cost for a tracking number. SORRY MODS I had to make a new thread for this cause I just never heard such thing and I buy a lot on here and I do a lot of shipping for my seafood seasoning business. Zilvianz please tell me does it cost extra for a tracking number thru usps

Yeah this, I think it may even be less.
I would be weary of someone asking for you to pay for it.
But then again there are alot of cheapskates, its also stupid on their part if the transaction is done through Paypal.
If there is no proof of them shipping anything and you recieving it then you could go to paypal and open a dispute, you'd most likely win.
Why do you think there is an area in Paypal to put in a tracking number, its just common sense and good customer service.

USPS Priority Mail through paypal
sends email notification to buyer
can look up transaction # if needed (not tracking but at least lets you know it's out)
USPS picks up from my work daily
one rate free Priority Mail boxes delivered to me for free
people get their shit within a couple of days
love it

i thought this as well...it's only what? 70-80 cents? for delivery confirmation by USPS? (more for insurance, signature, etc) nothing to cry over/start a thread about.

He shipped USPS but I'm just asking this dude to just send me a picture of the shipping receipt cause whether you pay extra for tracking, it's still on the receipt but this dude got offended cuz I told him stop being lazy and just send me the pic of the receipt to my phone if he can't figure out which numbers is the tracking number. Now this dude don't want to reply back to any of my pms. I told him to stop acting like a kid and handle his business transaction legitimately. Ain't like I took a long time to pay him. I told him I want it and I payed him right away. He said he shipped it but I can't get no proof of him doing it. This kid is clueless and he is just driving me nuts. I don't play around here on zilvia, when I say I want something, I pay for it and I always get a tracking number. I do this out of respect for all zilvians and I just never experienced anything like this before. I wish this dude was local to me cuz I'd really like to meet this dude. Immature kid who doesn't know how to do simple business transaction and I even payed him as a gift to save us fees. Damn this dude is driving me nuts. He can't even reply to my pms. Should I dispute the payment or can I even do that when I paypaled as gift?
To avoid headaches don't deal with this dude he is too sensitive, you might say something wrong to him and then he won't respond to you no more

nope. gifts are undisputable, you screwed yourself right there unfortunately. if he requested a gift payment, don't do it (too late now). if you did it yourself, you're too naive, sorry to say.
you should post this in the reviews section.

Since you gifted it as enkei2k said, there isnt anything you can do. Only gift it if you trust them.
