I just got four intrax springs and two rear tokico blue struts from ebay, and i really want to replace my stock struts when i install these springs. Is is a very good i dea to buy two front Tokico blues or is it ok to buy another brand that is cheaper but equal in quality to Tokico?
If anyone knows of the cheapest place to buy Tokico blues please feel free to tell me.
thanks

i would NOT go below tokico dude, please save up money. do everything tokico, some people would say theres nothing wrong with matching, but i wouldnt do it, especially if you want something cheaper than tokico. also intrax is a mad drop, so dont cheap out on shocks.

Well, Tokico Blues are more of an OEM replacement than a true performance shock. I'd imagine you'd be fine running something like KYB GR2's for the other pair.
You COULD go with KYB AGX's (adjustable), which cost only a bit more, and try to find a setting that matches the Tokico Blue dampening.

not with intrax. that drop will kill GR2 in matter of months maybe weeks. just get 2 more tokico or agx.

my GR2's lasted pretty long with Sportlines... but I'd definitely suggest AGX's over them. I still don't think that going with GR2's would be too bad.

i used to run gr2 up front koni yellow out back. it worked ok, konis were older, it feels better with 4 new gr2.

By not using Tokico blue shocks all around, you void your lifetime warranty. Of course there are probably shady ways around that...

I would love to buy save up and do it the right way, but i have no idea how long my car is going to last. I hopefully will find a donor car to replace fenders, engine, and many other things. So I don't really care about :fruit: tein :fruit:
