Okay so my s14 hvac doesnt seem to be working. Ive already searched.

It has the common blower resistor motor problem (1-3 not working) but also the buttons dont do anything. Switching from defrost to feet/face doesnt change anything. Also the recirculating button doesnt do anything as well. When I change the temp from cold to heat or vice versa the air temp doesnt change.

The heater used to work fine as well as the a/c.

Anyone know what the problem is? Faulty HVAC? Ive already taken it out and everything seems to be normal.

could be the motors going bad. locate the mode door motor, it will be under dash by your right knee when ur sitting in drivers seat. cycle through the functions (modes, air in face, face/feet, feet etc) and see if the motor is moving, give it a little tap n see if it works.

also you can break out the test light/volt meter and c if you are getting current to the plug.

the same thing for the other motors as well recirc and air mix motor

Change that resistor that mounts on your blower housing. That's the one control the speed of the blower.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I already know about the resistor card fix for the speeds. I was just stating it had that problem as well as others.
