Check your brake fluid level, the brake light will come on if you are low on fluid.
By the way, using the http://pfm101.com/images/funny/search.gif is always a good thing to do before posting.

Your braking fluid is low. Fill it back up and see if your pads need replaced or if you have a small leak n the brake system. Next time search (this has been gone over several times) and post this in tech please.
If he fills it back up, and then finds that his pads need replacing then brake fuild it going to overflow out his mc when he changes pads.
That how I did it my first time. Brake fluid if not cleaned up will eat through paint...and your frame is just below your mc...not something you want being exposed and rusting.
Pads should be checked first, if they are good, then refill and look for leaks.
Now might be a good time to just go ahead and flush your fluid and get some nice clean stuff in there.

yeah mine did the same thing, and mine easts right rear pads too.
I think the ebrake isn't adjusted right at that tensioner thing under the car, but I'm not sure.

that is why you dont push the piston back in WITHOUT loosening the bleed valve.
fill MC, open caliper bleed valve.. push in piston, close valve. Then bleed your brakes to make sure you got rid of all the junk.
