engine not ideling properly

I need some help here my car started to give me problems and I have no clue what's going on with it, am no tech expert. so any help is apreciated.


ok so I have a 90 s13 had a swap done about 7 months ago and every thing was good, now am driving down the free way and it feels slow
when I press the gas pedal it takes 4bout 4-10 seconds to respond.

when I get to a stop it dosent idle properly and dies out, I also noticed that there's smoke coming out of the tail pipe.

What color is the smoke? Blue, Black, White?

Yeah, knowing the color of the smoke would definately guide you in the right direction. Any particular smells you are getting from the exhaust or engine? Notice any leaks? When is the smoke coming out? Under acceleration? When you let off?

sounds alot like a boost leak, if the smoke is black

my s13 was doing the same shit just not the response lag part but what i did is i sea foamed and did a full tune up, the motor sounds good but for some reason the ecu went into limp mode... so that's a risk but ill let you know if i get mine done right, i think i just have to pull out all the sensors and put them back in but not sure
