View Full Version : Megan Type II or ISIS MBSE?

I've been doing some reading, looking for a low-key exhaust system, and I've narrowed it down to these two. I'm not made of money and both of these exhausts are in my price range.
Obviously the Megan looks more OEM, but I've heard that hangers rust off, and a stainless steel exhaust would be better. I've also read that the Megan is pretty loud, compared to the ISIS MBSE.
So, what do you think, Megan Type II Black, or ISIS MBSE painted all black except the chrome tip?

That's good to know. Does anyone have experience with ISIS? Any pics of the MBSE installed? I've only been able to find a few pics on here, no one really takes pics of the fitment, and how it looks directly from the back/side.
I might have to do a review myself.

Check this thread out for info on the isis exhaust. I think it looks pretty decent. Ground clearance is kind ehh though

i have a type2 and it's overall pretty average. can't say i love anything about it except that it probably looks stock to cops. it does hang really low between the axles so if you want your car really low this exhaust is probably not a good choice.

my megan type 2 went kamikaze on me. it was all fine then. a crazt rattling started. fixed that by bending a hanger that went to nothing. then the back muffler hangers broke. i found that by working on my car and noticing they were not there. then the last hanger completely broke in half, which caused the cat hanger to rip. and scraped my entire exhaust and almost scraped right into the pipe.
but they said the worrenty covered it and should be sending me a new one any day now. just had to take pictures. im hoping it will hold up better.
