1989 Nissan 240sx se Hatchback CLEEAN!!!

Alright so there are a ton of awesome cars for sale right now that I'm interested in, but really can't do anything until i sell my daily. I hate to let go of such an amazing car and in some aspects rare, but if someone has the cash or offers me a sweet deal it has to go. I want the car to go in good hands, so money isn't always everything.

This is an exact copy of my add on craigslist (extremely detailed) :

I have a 1989 Nissan 240sx se hatchback for sale

Completely stock ka24e 2.4L single overhead cam EFI.

the idle is solid and the car still pulls strong.

the odometer reads 440,685 KM which equates to 273,828 MILES. only added about 2k+ miles since we bought the car. Most recent Oil Change was done 11/7/10

I purchased this car from the ORIGINAL OWNER, who bought the car back in 89'. I am the SECOND owner.


Features:

-Power door locks
-Power Windows
-moon roof (latch is worn. sometimes drops down on hard bumps)
-Cruise Control
-This model did not come with a/c ( who would need it in Canada?)
-no se lip, and no se foam wing
-Manual seat belts stock (not a conversion.. Hooray Canada)
-instrument cluster is in KM ( proof of its origin. Canada)
-stock mud flaps

This car came from Vancouver Canada so it has some features that US 240sx's wouldn't normally have( from this year). yes its registered in CA

The 240 has an extremely clean interior and exterior. The oem paint is red and is in really good shape. it has some really small dings here and there which aren't very noticeable. it has a dent on the front left fender where it meets the bumper(the reflector is not cracked). There are some light scratches on the headlight covers and on the back bumper near the license plate. The interior is black with gray cloth and it is in REALLY good shape. the only problem is the driver seat has a patch on the bolster from wear. the dash is not cracked and all panels and trim are in place. all of the seats are still in good shape and hold really well. The privacy cover is still intact and i just changed the front speakers and head unit to Alpine replacements. the front windshield has a crack on the right side, but it does not affect driveability. just threw on new front windshield wipers.

The only MAJOR FLAW to the exterior would be the bubbling under the paint on the A pillars (both sides). other than that the exterior is in great shape.

we have done a full tune up on the car(mileage may vary) which consisted of

-New Interstate Battery
-New NGK spark plugs and wires
-New oil filter and 10w-40 oil
-New distributor cap and rotor
-New stock exhaust ( the one that came with the car had a hole near the muffler)
-New transmission fluid flush
-New valve cover gasket
-New upper and lower radiator hoses
-New thermostat
-New clutch master and slave

the car passed smog several months ago and will pass with flying colors. This car is completely stock and has not been abused or given a single modification. This car was regularly maintained at my dads shop for the last 4+ years, and now we currently own the car. He was using the car as a daily back and forth to work. This is my daily now and i barely drive the car. This car is equipped with a Clifford Alarm (allows for keyless entry).

This car will definitely keep you warm on those cold California nights. I usually have the temperature maxed out and the blower switch on #1 and it feels like a sauna once the car is warmed up.

This is a 5 speed, manual transmission. Goes into every gear like butter.

If the price seems steep, consider the fact that it's not easy finding one this clean, bone stock, and properly maintained. You really have to see the car in person in order to see all of the goods and bads.

From what I know the bubbling under the paint is actually rust (minimal). Water going in from the windsheild not being sealed all the way and such. Shouldn't be much though, quote from Maaco to fix it I think was about $80.

Interesting to know that they actually made a model that did not come with A/C at all? I find that hard to believe, maybe the A/C just doesn't work, needs to be recharged?

Seems like a perfect chassis. Pretty high mileage but damn it was kept in good shape. Pictures of engine bay may help sale.

Yep, no A/C. there is no AC compressor,condenser, or A/C button inside :)

Mileage is indeed high but visually it isn't there. I'll get pics of the engine bay asap, hella dirty.
