Hey,
Just wanted every one to know that I came from the track this weekend and I'm proud to say that I have posted a
13.30 @103MPH on a mostly stock motor. I own an s13 with sr20det. My brother and I equipped it with a Trust TR EVO 2 Exhaust 94mm piping and a Hybrid front mount intercooler. Tuned with GReddy e-manage and 14 P.S.I on stock turbo I was able to accomplish this time. Next time will be 114 race fuel and see if we can't get into twelves. Just imagine what a t3/t4 57 trim turbo will do at 25 pounds of boost and the correct supporting mods. Probably low 11's? Any ways I just wanted to tell people this so that people will know that this car can drag too.

How did you get about installing the Greddy E-manage with the SR? I'm deciding on the Apexi Power FC and Greddy E-manage, but it seems there is not a lot of knowledge about the Greddy E-manage out there.

Very nice numbers, do you plan on upgrading the turbo?

Unfortunatly I'm running 17's with 225/45/zr17. I'm sure ifI was running a smaller tire I might shave a little bit off. As for comparing piggyback fuel computers? If I had it my way I wouldn't even go with iether the e-manage or the Power FC. Have you guys heard about Perfect Power? It is a company out of Africa. They run for about 650-700 dollars Canadian. The unit is amazing it does full data logging, it has a high/low setting, advances/retards timing (like the e-manage). And most importantly you can tune off a wide band 02 sensor using lambda on your pc. This system is supposed to be phenomonal. You can also get stand alones for about 1400 Canadian. They're that much better for those that want that much more. I know guys that are comparing them with accel dfi's on Grand Nationals. They're way more user friendly. GReddy e-mange was worth the penny paid for. The problem is you can't data log the timing for it. So what is the use of the timing map. We shot in the dark and found that it worked very strong. My friend on the dsm forum (fasterthanu) he calls himself help me tune it. It is pulling strong.
Any car that will work with the Apex-i SAFC will work with the e-manage. This tool is greatrly worth it. Be aware that the
e-mange itself will not work that great. If you do dicide to use the e-manage, be sure to at least get the ignition harness and the preasure sensor and the support tool(wich is a cd). You'll have to use a lap top to tune it. This is where it will blow you away in what you can do with it. You can actually use another hot wire mass air flow sensor from another car like the infamous z32 MAFS. You won't need all those expensive JWT ECU's. I got my unit off e-Bay for 700 Canadian for everything used. It works like a charm. I do plan on upgrading the turbo to iether a 57 trim t3/t4 because it is a pump gas king. Or maybe even a td06. It's the money spent on the supporting mods that will be tough. Cams, injectors clutch etc. If you want to learn more about the
e-manage just search it on google.com. It should come up. If you don't, than just reply to this thread and I'll see if I can find information for you.
If you guys want anymore info on my settup or what ever, I'd love to help.
