Purchased car with 2way installed, previous owner told me it was cusco, mileage unknown but works flawlessly, only drove the car about 200 miles with it than swapped it. Came off a 97 s14 inlcudes 6bolt axles and the diff
Located in Victorville , asking 850

anyone know how to ID a cusco lsd? and tell whether if its MZ? or rz? and which type it is, 2 way 1.5 way...

Thats not the diff part number, that would be the bearing caps number.
Oh, and there should be a R&P number on the diff itself, you just have to rotate it until you see it.

The numbers you posted are from the ring gear.... that is a OEM part so it won't tell you what LSD you have....
That might be an older style cusco diff or something. All the cusco diffs I've seen have 2-4 rings/grooves on the outside of the case including my RS and the case is a blueish color. Also the oil port holes are larger and more of an oval shape on the newer Cusco LSDs.

^That's exactly what my cusco RS looks like. I've also had the cusco MZ and it looks identicle to the RS minus the springs visible through the oil ports.
