Ok i got myself another hatch, completely stock automatic with 130k miles to be used as my daily. The only 2 issues i got is the tranny. when i floor it it takes a second to kick in kinda how vtec is then it only take a second when that 20mph run goes to 100mph.Its like it hesitates to go faster then kicks in. The other thing is when it shifts gears i can hear it change 2-3 times then its just one long mph run and it never hits the redline when i even hit 110. Whats wrong with the car? I tightened the throttle cable a bit, replaced the belts, tranny fluid, speed sensor, lightweight tires, no rear interior, battery relocation, headers, 2.5 inch exhaust, electric fan.

Woah! Haha wtf are you talking about bro? You mean your 20 year old automatic transmission doesnt down shift instantaneously??? Weird.
But seriously, hitting redline is not a good thing. Especially on a stock KA..It makes peak power well below that and will not carry it to redline. As far as i know, all the autos are programmed to shift well before redline.

I know what atx trannies do. I was told by the owner that it possibly is the ecu because he said its an atx ecu. Is there a difference in 5spd ecus and automatc? I havent looked at the numbers on the 5spd ecu on the other car. Because i swear the car feels like its hitting vtec when its not even a honda.
Plus how do i know if the car has that power and hold mode?

You need to stop making a new thread for every fart and hiccup your vehicle happens to have.
Either learn to Search better, or find a new forum to troll. I know you've already been banned and made new screen names on other sites. Maybe they miss you now.
