Description: My fellow supraforums brothers (and sisters)! I'm looking to sell my 1990 RB25DET swapped 240sx. I bought it earlier this year with the intention of building it into a track car and buying a truck for winter... However, due to me getting married next year, I need to free up some cash. So I have to sell either the Supra or this, so this has to go. I'm looking for cash or trade for any reliable DD (cue old Camry, Accord, Integra, corolla, truck, anything really) + cash. This car is NOT perfect by any means (hence the cheapo price for an RB swapped 240), but will be 100 percent honest with any interested buyer.
I'll start off with the BAD:
1. Paint is fading. I believe it is original
2. Car has been in a minor accident according to the previous owner. The driver's door was replaced from a junk yard and hence the color doesnt match. This door also has some dents (surprisingly the rest of the car hardly has any)
3. Two small rust spots on the trunk
4. Heavy clutch. In fact, just recently, I broke the tack welds on the clutch assembly and had to be towed to a shop... The shop fixed it by removing the master, and fully rewelding the clutch back on, a $270 job.
5. Needs an alignment
6. Has a one small dent on the frame rail from previous owner. Appears to have been from improperly jacked. I researched this and appears to be normal with MANY 240sx's
7. Some of the rubber window seals are coming off.
8. Weird vibration around 2300rpm and lasts for maybe 100-200rpm in 3rd and 4th gears. Not sure what it is
9. Need a small plastic clip to hold the gas door closed. Broke off one time when I was filling up the car.
10. Some of the interior plastic was painted red by the owner and is not looking too good.
11. The infamous 240sx cracked dash by driver's side
12. Automatic seatbelts don't work (motor may be missing), so I manually just belt myself in.
13. No A/C
14. Odometer moves, but it's slow.
I hope that didn't scare you guys, but like I said, I want to be 100 percent honest with the new owner.

I have driven this car to Cincinnatti OH and back (1400 miles) and is my DD so the new owner should not be afraid to drive it to wherever you're going.
Ill throw these two things in for $500 if I get a reasonable offer for the car:
1. Nistune standalone ECU for the RB25DET. New, haven't been used. From Autovaughn motorsports. Cost ~$600
2. Used AEM UEGO Wideband Bought it used for ~$200

I'll take $6K for it because: I was planning on doing the timing belt and perhaps waterpump (previous owner stated he did it a few thousand miles ago) this winter, and the remote start started acting funny (it will crank and start, but continues to crank once car is running, probably a loose tach/voltage wire). I just don't have time to work on this car work /grad school. Taking a pretty big hit here, but I just need it sold.
Thanks,
Jeremy
