Almost the exact outer Dia. but is the lip of the tire too large to fit the 6.5inch rim and fuk up the sidewall geometry or will it slap on and be in the tires calibration properly with weight and pressure?

I searched a few key words but found nothing pertaining to how wide a tire is safe for the rim.

Currently the stock 205/60 is on there now.

Options are the 225/55 or the 245/50 to keep the dia. properly close.

Any personal experience with this?

It will be 6 months before I do Q45 brakes and now that I am entertaining the idea of doing high speed drifting, my tires will
need to be replaced. I wanna go wide as I can on that rim.

With the Q45 brakes, I will need to do the 5 lug swap and still looking at rims. I will know when that time comes whast to get ...I hope as far as rims go (16")

Humor me with knowledge please...

245 will have more bulge than Rosie o'donell bending over.

And if you plan your "high speed drifts" on a 245 w/ 6.5 inch rim, plan on the tire flexing and wanting to roll over.

I would personally stay 205 or 215.....but thats just me.

Most of the D1 guys drift w/ 255's stretched on wide rims, and they have the HP to easily break it loose....The low powered D1 corollas are running 185's.

245's are dangerous, b/c they will rol, and the tires can get ripped open easier on their sidewall, than on their actual tread. Mid drift *POW* -bill goes spinning out- if your lucky. :D ;)

btw - the stock teardrops are 6" not 6.5"
